Rent-free in my head music 1

A short list of 5-6 songs that I’ve been listening to a lot over the last few days, or, as they say, living rent-free in my head.

In no particular order:

  1. So Poetic - Sundressed - The transitions are jagged, they shouldn’t work, but they seem to. Also, this band sounds so much like blink-182, they should be called blink-182 2 or blink-364 (It had to be done).
  2. Hopeless Wanderer - Mumford & Sons - Whatever happened to the folk rock boom?
  3. Covers of A Thousand Miles by Our Last Night, and Teddy Swims - I think it is interesting how the first one got screamy’ at just the points you can imagine someone wanting to scream.
  4. Take on Me (acoustic) - a-ha - The original is peppy, nostalgia-laden. The acoustic version just feels different in a good way.
  5. Change your mind - Sister Hazel - Good tempo, and bad mental health advice in the same place.
  6. Sabse Peach Hum Khade - Silk Route - Used to be one of my cousin sister’s favourite songs.

P.S. Feel free to judge my music taste. If I do end up continuing this is a series, please prepare for whiplash.
