A short list of 5-6 songs that I’ve been listening to frequently the last few days, or, as they say, have been living rent-free in my head (singing them on Zoey walks, etc.).
For more under this tag see: ‘rent-free-music’
In no particular order:
Fool In The Rain - Led Zeppelin - This is a go to when a heady breeze combines itself with petrichor just before it rains :). And not your typical Led Zeppelin song.
Couldn’t Care Less - ALTÉGO, Gia Koa - Came on a few times at the gym - love that it sounds like Cotton Eye Joe.
Bar Song (Tipsy Techno) - GRATIFY, Keanu Silva, Norman Alexandar - The Shaboozey version spent a lot of time in my head in 2024. Again, one of those that came on frequently in my gym playlist.
This reimagination (reel) of Don’t Stop Now as Please Help Me Now - I loved the “Zero degress, they call me Mr. Celsius” bit. So good! 😂
Price Tag (feat B.o.B) - Jessie J - The meme/trend with pets has been hilarious. But I am also thinking this how the Trump Administration is currently ‘administrating’ i.e. for the plot - “…make the world dance”.
It’s not about the money, money, money
We don’t need your money, money, money
We just wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
Ain’t about the, uh, cha-ching, cha-ching
Ain’t about the, yeah, ba-bling, ba-bling
Wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
I am obviously being flippant with 7, but now you also know I wasn’t kidding when I said this (send help!).
