Rent-free in my head music 3

A short list of 5-6 songs that I’ve been listening to frequently the last few days, or, as they say, have been living rent-free in my head (singing them on Zoey walks, etc.).

For more under this tag see: rent-free-music’

In no particular order:

  1. Numb Little Bug - Em Beihold. I also quite like the piano version.
  2. Dancing in the Moonlight - Top Loader - One of those songs that lifts my mood whenever I listen to it. (It came on as I was typing this post up :))
  3. New Shoes - Paolo Nutini - Same as 2. As the song goes:

Hey, I put some new shoes on
And suddenly everything is right
I said, hey, I put some new shoes on
And everybody’s smiling, it’s so inviting

  1. Never Forget You - Noisettes

  2. Nosedive - BoyWithUke - Not so much the song, I thought some of the lyrics were interesting:

We’re all grown up, we’re all so lost
Nothing has prepped us for this life
It’s like we don’t know why
    Nosediving from the high
We’re all grown up, we’re all so lost
Nothing has prepped us for this life
It’s like we don’t know why
    Nosediving from the high

  3. Some (more) random covers by Our Last Night (like this) and Teddy Swims (and this).

  4. New Soul - Yael Naim. This bit seems like it will make sense to anyone trying to make sense of the world today:

See I’m a young soul in this very strange world
Hoping I could learn a bit bout what is true and fake
But why all this hate? Try to communicate
Finding trust and love is not always easy to make

P.S. Too Sweet - Hozier from 2 is still around.
